Privacy Policy

Solara Match ("Solara", "we") exists to introduce you to harmonically aligned partners. That requires personal information — some of it intimate. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and the control you keep. We treat your data as sacred: we do not sell it, and we collect nothing we don't use.
What we collect, and why
- Account details — your name, and a phone number or email address. Used to create your account and sign you in with one-time codes. We never store passwords, because we never ask for one.
- Birth details — date, time (optional) and place of birth. Used solely to compute your astrological placements and numerology. Your birth chart never changes; it is computed from these details and stored with your profile.
- Photos and bio — shown to the people we introduce you to.
- Voice recording (optional) — a short spoken phrase, analyzed for its acoustic qualities to create your vocal resonance reading. The recording and its derived features stay in your profile.
- Location (optional) — your current location is used for daily sky timing (moon phase, transits) and distance between you and your matches. We use your location for that and nothing else. Your birth chart is separate from your current location.
- Preferences and intentions — who you'd like to meet, distance and age ranges, and your relationship intentions. Used only to shape who we introduce you to.
- Messages — conversations with your connections are stored so they appear on your devices. We do not read them for advertising; there is no advertising.
How readings are generated
Compatibility readings and voice interpretations are written with the help of third-party AI language services. What we send them is the minimum needed to write the reading — placements, numbers and derived signals, under contractual terms that prohibit using your data to train their models. Your name may appear in a reading; your contact details never leave Solara.
What we never do
- We never sell or rent your personal information.
- We never show your birth details, exact location, or contact information to other members.
- We never use your messages or photos for advertising.
Sharing
Other members see your profile as you've built it: first name, age, city, photos, bio, and your astrological summary. Full compatibility readings are visible only to the two people in the match. We share data with service providers only as needed to run Solara (cloud hosting, media storage, SMS and email delivery, AI reading generation, and — when you subscribe — Apple's App Store or Google Play, who process payment; we never see your card details).
Your control
- Edit — your photos, bio, preferences, birth details and astrology-school preference can be changed at any time in the app.
- Disconnect — you can withdraw from any match; they no longer see your profile.
- Delete — you can delete your account from the app. Deletion removes your profile, photos, voice data, matches and messages from our systems, with residual copies cleared from backups within [30] days.
- Export — you can request a copy of your data by writing to privacy@solaramatch.com.
Retention and security
We keep your information while your account is active. Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to systems that need it, and sign-in codes expire within minutes of being sent.
Age
Solara is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account, and we verify this against your birth date at signup.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Questions belong to privacy@solaramatch.com.
